ABOUT ME (Marketing Manager - CRC | ChemFree ® Corp)

 

   Hello! My name is LaDarryl Hollingsworth and I am a visual communicator. I have been working in the design field for over 15 years now and have recently reached a point of wanting new challenges and career growth. I currently work as the marketing manager for CRC's  Bio-remediation and Earth Sciences division (South), The ChemFree® Corporation. It is my job to introduce our wonderful eco-friendly product line (lead by our industry leading Smart Parts Washer, aka SmartWasher) to the world.  We are a global company the strives to pave the way to a greener future.

   

     Formally I worked as a production artist for International Paper. International Paper is one of the world’s leading producers of fiber-based packaging, pulp and paper. We create packaging products that protect and promote goods, enable worldwide commerce and keep consumers safe; pulp for diapers, tissue and other personal hygiene products that promote health and wellness; papers that facilitate education and communication; and paper bags, cups and food containers that provide convenience and portability for the on-the-go consumer. I am tasked with preparing, creating, re-creating, or enhancing production art files to be printed for multiple large south east accounts. Accounts include such names as U-Haul, Staples, Hammer Mill, Walmart, Papa Johns, and Little Ceasars.

 

     Prior to I.P. I worked for a large chemical manufacturing and development center where I was tasked with overseeing the over all creative direction of the company including but not limited to packaging design, label printing, trade show graphics, print/ digital advertising, and product photography while concisely adhering to the company's brand ideals. I have designed graphics (flyers, catalogs, logos, signage, websites, magazine advertisements, banners, and event promotions) for literally hundreds of our customers through out the country and abroad. Some of which I proudly work with directly on a weekly basis. I have been personally responsible for the growth and development of the company's brand identity, helping grow what was then a small company into a multi-million dollar operation. 

   

   No matter what role I am in I am detailed oriented, extremely organized, and I appreciate that it is my job to not only coordinate the design of marketing projects but also oversee printing of all print media. Daily prioritization the two, while simultaneously tackling various other projects takes a great deal of multitasking and is constantly done with great diligence. Because I deal with a large amount of product selling I have developed a vast understanding of retails trends. Staying on par with current trends translates to excellent client relationships. I communicate with clients weekly to insure that their particular product marries the packaging that has been designed for it. (i.e, a new eco friendly laundry powder marketed towards families). It is extremely gratifying and I thoroughly enjoy seeing the finished product. With that said, the company is growing but not as fast as my ambitions are so I am actively seeking the opportunity to advance my career and explore new creative avenues. I am proficient  in Microsoft office suite (Power Point, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and CorelDraw suite which affords me the ability to solve problems from various angles, taking full advantage of time and budget concerns.

   

  I thoroughly enjoy my current position but it is time to spread my wings and secure a position with a thriving company that can offer me even more growth opportunities. I am eager to dive into new projects, a fast starter, self motivated, and my hope is that you see something that leads to us talking more. Have an awesome day!
